Tiger Woods by Jeff Benedict & Armen Keteyian

“Tiger Woods” is a biography on the legendary golfer and it is incredible. It pulls no punches in its depiction of one of the greatest athletes of all-time. This book peels back the layers and offers behind-the-scenes insight into the awkward, disturbing, and strange upbringing that made Tiger. His fall from grace completely flipped the way the world saw him and this book details the background of what led to those events. Heavily manipulated by his controlling father, Tiger comes across as a borderline sociopath that was created in his father’s image. Given the pressure and expectation placed on him, the fame and success he experienced, and the flawed perception of life he was raised within, it’s not surprising to see how he stumbled. Understanding this about him is what has made his humble turnaround and redemption so meaningful from a fan’s perspective.

At 512 pages (hardcover) or 15 hours, it’s a long read but one you’ll find immensely entertaining.
