Subtitled “From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail”, this book is the story of the author’s trek along the PC trail in her early 20s. She was not a hiker and had no experience, yet took on a mountainous challenge during a confusing time in her life. The book is somewhat an autobiography as it details her aspects of her life with men and how she is struggling with the death of her mother. The story of her hike alone is cool but her reflections on herself make the book incredibly fulfilling. It’s a great read with a thousand relatable points.

At 336 pages or 10 hours, it’s a bit on the longer side but well worth the time.
